1. Scope of Service: Data Intelligence Only

Trace500 (operated by Trace Consult Limited) provides a technical AI-orchestrated data intelligence platform. By using this service, you acknowledge that Trace500 is a Forensic Analytics and Reporting Tool and not a financial institution, law firm, or recovery agency.

  • We provide Information Services based on public blockchain data and licensed financial metadata.

  • We do not offer financial advice, wealth management, or legal representation.

2. The “Active Window” Technical Constraint

Our AI pipeline is optimized for high-fidelity tracing of incidents occurring within a 5-week window from the date of the final transaction. You acknowledge that submissions exceeding this timeline may result in degraded “Insufficient Data” results due to the speed of asset dispersal and obfuscation layers.

3. No Guarantee of Asset Return

Trace500 is a Transaction Mapping and Notification Service. While our pipeline provides a 70–75% success rate in generating full tracing graphs, we provide no guarantee—implied or explicit—that the identified assets will be returned. The final decision to freeze or return assets rests solely with the Custodial Entities (Exchanges, Banks, EMIs) to which our reports are sent.

4. User Submission & Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of the technical data points (TXIDs, Wallet Addresses, IBANs) submitted to the pipeline. Incorrect data ingestion will result in inaccurate graph construction. Trace500 assumes no liability for reports generated based on erroneous user input.

5. Use of Third-Party Forensic APIs

To ensure industry-standard attribution, Trace500 utilizes licensed investigative APIs (including Chainalysis, TRM Labs, and Elliptic). Usage of our platform constitutes acceptance that your incident data will be queried against these forensic databases for the purpose of risk scoring and cluster identification.

6. Automated Notification Protocol

Upon generation of a “Structured Evidence Packet,” Trace500 will orchestrate outbound notifications to relevant custodial endpoints. These alerts are technical in nature, intended to provide the receiving institution with forensic intelligence regarding suspicious activity on their platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

Trace Consult Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our tracing intelligence. Our service is provided “as-is” for the purpose of forensic visibility and reporting.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
